1. developed a building master plan under the professional guidance of architect - Atkin, Olshin, Lawson-Bell 2. completed the New Dollars/New Partners training offered by Partners for Sacred Places and was awarded a $100,000 grant 3. commissioned a Capital Campaign Committee 4. conducted a preliminary campaign that exceeded the financial goal (restored sanctuary ceiling, nursery renovation, new tables for Nichols Hall and seed money to support mission projects) 5. created a network of potential community partners 6. engaged the firm of Schultz and Williams as fund raising consultants 7. initiated an internal communication strategy to update the congregation 8. conducted a high reach study of the Spire 9. organized the immediate community in completing a streetscape conceptual design with funding from Partners for Sacred Places and with professional assistance thorugh the Community Design Collaborative 10. recieved a $300,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Convention Center to assist in the restoration of the Arch Street stained glass window 11. dveloped phase one and engaged The Aegis Group to manage phase one of the campaign. 12. completed the asbestos abatement of Nichols Hall 13. piping for sprinkler system installed 14. restoration of the Arch Street stained glass window underway 15. raised a total of $400,000 in grants and a total of $577,000 in pledged gifts - $223,000 remains to be raised to reach the goal of $1.2 million by 2014.
