Hynicka's Homilog

Homily is another word for sermon. The best sermons are a product of prayer, study, reflection on comments from biblical scholars and social/spiritual interaction with the people of the parish.  A homily or sermon is a bold attempt to present God's Word for salvation and  faithful  living in the world today - "divine messaging" I like to call it these days. In Hynicka's Homilog, I am inviting more interaction and  dialogue  from all who want to participate as I pray and prepare for preaching each Sunday.  So, please read the scripture lessons that form  the basis of  next week's homily/sermon. Be sure to read the key verse that I select, the homily/sermon title I create and the key points I am  working with.  Please email me at with your comments, ideas, illustrations, prayers and encouragement.  Recent sermons posted below invite further review, reflection and revelation.
